Firewalling

Firewalling in IDMS Linux is done with the etcnet scripts.

Firstly you'll need to enable firewalling by changing..

CONFIG_FW=no

in /etc/net/ifaces/default/options to...

CONFIG_FW=yes

In /etc/net/ifaces/default/fw/ you will find an "options" file, this contains a few defaults and allows one to set the builtin chain policies.

There are 3 other directories, ebtables, ip6tables & iptables. All three contain the configuration files for that particular application.
